The ABC powder fire extinguisher is a versatile and highly effective fire suppression device designed to combat various types of fires.This fire extinguisher can be used on Class A, Class B, Class C, and electrically generated fires. Class A refers to fires due to solid materials like paper, wood, Textiles etc Class B refers to fires due to flammable Liquids like Petrol, Kerosene, Paints Class C refers to fires due to flammable gases like LPG, CNG, ethane, etc Electrical fires like Panel boards, switch boards, generators, motors, etc
This particular fire extinguisher is a multipurpose type, simple to use, with a pressure gauge to indicate the healthy working condition (If the needle is at zero it means the pressure is low, if the needle is at the green mark, it indicates a healthy working condition).
This fire extinguisher is built as per IS 15683 :2018 and it is BIS marked. The Mono Ammonium Phosphate (MAP) powder is also BIS marked, IS 14609.
Ideal uses: Home, office, shops, hospitals, shopping malls, industries, warehouses, farms, manufacturing, oil and gas plants, and woodworking areas.
